Shop your stash: The results

Last week I gave you all a challenge to 'shop your stash' and find the old makeup that you had forgotten about and as promised here are my results.

I re-discovered four items that I had totally forgotten about. From left to right it goes EOS strawberry lip balm, Bad Gal lash from Benefit, Bourjois Peach on the beach lip crayon and Soap & Glory's supercat liner.

So the EOS strawberry lip balm was purchased from Amazon last year before I went to the Caribbean, I mainly bought it for the SPF and the hype. After re-discovering it I have been putting it on my lips every night and loving it. They are feeling super moisturised and lovely.

Next up is Benefit's Bad Gal lash, this is a sample size that came free with a magazine. I never really got the hype for this mascara and tossed it into the makeup drawer never to be seen again. Until last week and I haven't stopped wearing it, still not sure if I will buy the full size as it is pricey but I will definitely empty this one.

This eyeliner was my be all and end all up until I went to NYC where I picked up a whole load of new eyeliners. I had completely forgotten how awesome this one is and I am now back to using it everyday.

Finally onto something that I never really used when I bought it. This color boost crayon from Bourjois is in colour Peach on the beach and I felt it didn't really suit me but I have since changed my hair colour and now I love it. I have a feeling this will become my summer go-to.

Overall I am dead chuffed with the items I have re-discovered and best of all it didn't cost me a damn penny.

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure Moisture Kick Spray Conditioner Review

What a name.

I picked up this spray in conditioner back before I went to the Dominican Republic in September, the idea was as the sunshine, pool, sea and sand dry out my hair this would be a miracle concoction and save it.

At the time I wasn't blown away with it but it did help keep my hair manageable, however I recently have had my hair coloured and to keep it in tip top condition I have pulled this gem back out of my product drawer.

I spray it in every night around 7 or 8 pumps and then hit the hay only to wake up with beautifully soft hair.
Seriously it is that simple, ever since I started using it every night my hair seems to have magically transformed into soft, manageable hair and it's magic.

If you are looking for a spray in conditioned I highly recommend this one, if it runs out before my holidays this year I will be re-buying. I feel like I couldn't live without it now.

Outfit of the day: Shorts for work!

I love a good pair of shorts, make them high waisted, a beautiful colour and £3 on eBay and you can call me your best friend. I picked up these amazing shorts on eBay as you can guess about a week a go and I love them. They are originally Topshop but I have no idea how many seasons old they are.

I feel like shorts don't get enough attention for office outifits so I am bringing them back. This is not good news for my bank balance!

I teamed the shorts with 90 denier tights, a long sleeved black top from Dorothy Perkins, black wedges from Deichmann and a long necklace from Accessorize.

I love this outfit so much. Seriously I wan't to wear it everywhere.

Luke Friend at Hamleys

Back in the cold cold February I got invited along to Hamleys with Lauren to the launch of their new photobooth that is shaped like the tube.

As exciting as that is the reason we went is that they had Luke Friend from the X Factor performing, there were about 20 of us and it was awesome. Lauren recorded the whole thing and here is the video.

Taylor Swift Red Tour

This is late, like really bloody late going up and for that I am so sorry but here are the photos I snapped at Taylor Swift's Red tour on her last night in London at the O2 back on February 11th.

She was stunning and sassy and everything you could ever hope for in a performer!

I uploaded a few of the videos I took at the O2, they aren't full length because I wanted to take pics too.

Ps - If you click on the pictures they will go big and the camera used is the Fujifilm bridge camera.

Cat pics

This may seem totally crazy and random but the photos were on my phone and I wanted to share them with you. Here are photos I have taken of my cat & my adoptive cats (who live next door).

This is Strausse, he enjoys pretending he's a kitten when he is actually almost 3.

He also has a thing for bags.

This is my beautiful babe. Jester, he is 20 and the most perfect cat ever.

And this is Levi. He acts too cool for school unless there is a makeshift playground (AKA an old bed going to the tip) in the garden.

These are my kitties.

Sorry if I bored you.

Re-discover your old makeup

This is a challenge for all you little munchkins out there (whether you have a blog or not) I want you to have a look through all your makeup.. and I mean all of it. I want you to find some old favourites and re-discover your makeup not just the pieces on the top.

I don't know a single person who doesn't hoard their makeup and I am a number one offender so I too am joining in. I am also going to try and rope in a few beauty bloggers to post up their favourite old pieces.

We all read loads of posts on the new and exciting things that have just been released but I for one want to read about all the other bits too!

So go go go, lets re-discover the old favourites and save ourselves some money!
