Last night I was watching 'Popular Song' on YouTube by Ariana Grande and Mika. Her hair looked amazing so I thought I would re-create a simple step-by-step guide to her hairstyle.
Start off with straightened and brushed hair.
Take a chunk of hair about and inch deep from the front and move your parting over so that it lines up with the outside edge of your eye.
Pull this bit accross your forehead and either tuck behind your ear or use a hair clip to keep it to the side.
Next up you want to tie up the top half of your hair, include the hair behind your ears to get the sleek effect.
Get a hair tie and fix the hair to the same side of your head as your deep parting. You don't have to have it drastically pulled to one side but this will replicate Ariana's hair if you do.
Pin the front chunk of hair behind your ear, make sure it is evenly spaced so brush it out a few times before fixing in place.
Done! Perfect for something a little different to the usual half up half down.
