Little purchase from feel unique

I have never shopped at feel unique before today, it just wasn't somewhere I ever thought of as having better deals than Boots but a few days ago I saw their sale advert and thought I would have a little peak.
Now today is payday for me and it has been a long time coming so I thought I would give myself a small reward before this months salary goes into a savings account. These are the bits I have just purchased.

L'Oreals EverSleek smoothing and moisturising conditioner - £5.09
I need a conditioner to use up all of the shampoo bottles I have lying around, because of my frizzy curly hair I use conditioner much quicker than shampoo and always end up with about 2-3 uses of shampoo without any conditioner. This has been going on for a while so it's time to use them all up!

Maybelline colour tattoo - Immortal Charcoal £4.99
After my rave review the other day I have invested in this gunmetal colour. Perfect for winter.

L'Oreal Superliner Blackbuster - £5.95
I have been dying to try this for ages but I've never been able to find it in my local stores. Love me some eyeliner, can't wait to try this out.

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes - £9.34
Gone a bit L'Oreal mad on this order but I've heard good things about this mascara, with summer coming to a close soon I'm getting back into my dark makeup.

Redken Extreme Mini travel set - £6.90
I couldn't resist this at £6.90, it was one of those 'have you seen this' options and the sucker that I am I had to get it. Especially after my friend Lauren's review about the anti-snap.

Schwarzkopf Professional Kick spray conditioner - £8.36
This is mainly a holiday purchase as the sun, sea and chlorine will dry out my hair I am going to be spritzing this in non-stop for 2 weeks in an attempt to save my hair. I have heard good reviews about it so fingers crossed.

I will be posting reviews for all this junk once it has been tried and tested so check back in October to get my thoughts.

Disney Showcase Haute-Couture Collection

Belle Figurine By Disney Showcase Haute-Couture
Every once in a while I like to steal myself off to the disney store online and admire all the new stuff they have in. I noticed these last week when I picked up my new vinylmations.
Disney has released a couture version of 4 of their princesses and they are so painfully pretty.
Of course Belle looks the best but I can't get over how pretty they have made Aurora's dress, clearly being a combo between her pink and blue dresses they have created a stunning water colour-esque dress.
Love love love, if you want to get your hands on one they will set you backl £45 but they are so prettyyyy!

Dorothy Perkins A/W13

Dorothy Perkins and I have a love/hate relationship, some months I think everything is lovely and want to just give them my credit card and other months I think 'ick no'. This is a season of love to be sure, they have so many lovely autumn/winter items in and I thought I would share my top picks.

Black and stone animal skater - £22

Black collared top - £22

Dogtooth slim fit trouser - £25

Black strap biker boots - £32

Plum 1/2 sleeve mesh top dress - £20

You can also get 15% off at the moment with discount code - DPESSENTIAL1

Holy crap August is almost over?!

I am a little bit in shock that it was 4 weeks ago to the day I posted 'New Month, New colour!'..

I mentioned in that post I was scared at how quickly time was passing and as if the earth clock could hear me this month has become a blur.
Tomorrow will be the 30th August which is my cousins Hen party, Saturday 31st will be my brothers birthday and BAM Hi September!

I am 17 days away from my holiday.
I am 8 weeks away from my boyfriends 21st which scares the bajeeebus out of me because I remember his 17th.
13 weeks away from a surprise thingy.
We are 16.5 weeks away from Christmas!!!!!!
Therefore 21 weeks away from my 23rd birthday.

LIFE CAN YOU JUST SLOW THE FUCK DOWN!

I have a horrible feeling I am going to blink and it will be NYE 2013..

Last outfits for August

Sorry this is late, I was going to post it on Friday last week then I realised I was missing some and thought I would post on Monday and forgot to take a pic so here we are today with a nice jumble of images from the past 2 weeks.

Todays outfit - As you can see from all the images I am being very boring with my clothes at the moment, mainly because we are going into changing seasons. Next week I will be better I promise.

All jeans and tops basically, I swear there have been some dresses and shirts and cardigans going on but clearly on the days I make an effort I decide not to take a pic!  All of the tops are either Dorothy Perkins or River Island and the jeans are M&S for black and Topshop for blue.

Shoes? Trusty old Miss Selfridge ballet pumps.

Things I love on the internet today

New makeup staple

I bought this little beauty about 3 months ago after seeing so many good reviews online put it in my makeup drawer and didn't even take off the wrapping until Monday last week.
I think because I was expecting it to be pretty middle of the road I just didn't think too much about it but now you can't keep me away.

I own the colour tattoo in 'Permanent Taupe' and it is so damn pretty. I have literally worn it almost every day since opening, it is so easy to apply, doesn't crease and really does last all damn day! I now feel I need them all but I will resist as some of them are a little questionable in colour.

I know a lot of makeup junkies out there use them as a base and then apply shadow over the top but for the lazy and simplistic makeup madame's out there it is perfect on it's own. If you are looking for something simple and subtle get these, super cheap and beautiful all at the same time.

Airport shopping list

As you may have noticed I am off on holiday in 2 weeks and 4 days! This means a trip to good old duty free, the boyfriend and I have agreed we are going to get to the airport as soon as check in opens so that he can have a huge cooked breakfast and I can have a little shop..
Here are the things that may or may not make it into my case.

Honey Eau de Parfum
Marc Jacobs - Honey.
I am not usually a fan of his perfumes but this one smells too good.

A Jo Malone perfume, not sure which but I've got a tinkering for at least 1 of them.

Clinique chubby stick shadow tint - Mighty Moss and Curvaceous Coal

Just to name a few, I will of course make a stop at Mac, Dior and Urban Decay and try not to spend my life savings.

115 blog posts

Just a little bit shocked that I have managed to post 115 different things on here. It's made me think maybe I should hone in to a specific genre or category because at the moment I just post what comes into my head. Is it time to filter out the crap or keep typing?

Pretty Little Liars - SPOILER

BIG ASS WARNING DO NOT CLICK READ MORE IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN LAST NIGHTS EPISODE!!!..

Holiday reads

2 weeks in the Caribbean calls for some serious reading. I went onto Amazon last week and selected some of the 'best beach reads' and 1 I have been wanting to read for ages.

3 of these came from the Amazon pre-owned section, at the end of the day books need to be read so I don't care if they have previously been read and it saved me £17.
The only new one is Tina Fey - Bossypants mainly because the 2nd hand options weren't cheaper. I am really excited to read One Fifth Avenue by Candace Bushnell as I love all of her other books especially The Carrie Diaries. All of the other authors will be completely new to me but new is good!
Can't wait to get reading.

Sims fans, stop what you are doing!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
OMGOMGOMG
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

SIMS 4!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Okay I've calmed down a little bit now, just long enough for me to tell you about Sims 4!
I have loved Sims since the beginning of time, it was my first real computer game and I can remember getting the original and house party for my 10th birthday. Excited didn't even cover it.

Of course after hours of game play I was then gifted all of the expansion packs for Sims and Sims 2 when they were released.

I can remember the excitement when Sims 3 came out in 2009, I pre-ordered (possibly the only thing I have pre-ordered in my life) and headed off to Game to pick up my £45 disk.
A lot of money to someone with no job, I think I must have been doing chores for cash.

I can't even tell you how much time I have spent on this game. Whenever I've been sick or bored or just got nothing else to do out it comes and now this little beauty has been confirmed.

With emotions controlling your sims and the ability to multi-task, Sims4 promises to steal all my time and money.
New ways to build Sims, change every aspect of them and their personalities. I am actually so excited for 2014.. come on EA at least give us a month to count down to!

The MTV VMAs..

So in England the VMAs aren't aired until 3-4 days later on MTV and by that point any product placement or swear words are blanked out making the programme very annoying to watch, because of this I tend to watch all of the clips on YouTube/Perez Hilton.
Lets run a little recap of my favourite moments shall we? First up has got to be the Smith's reaction to Miley Cyrus being just nasty.
And Will Smith's family's worst nightmare:

Seriously what was she trying to achieve?

Next up was the N*Sync reunion! It was all kinds of awesome and I am so happy they did it and reminded us all how good music was in the 90's.

And my final favourite moment had to be this...

Some of it was awful, some of it sickening but the good was really good.
Can't wait for next years VMAs!

Back from the bank holiday!

Good morning people of the internet!
Today is the first day back after a long weekend away from work and the internet, here in England we have had a bank holiday Monday making this weekend extra lovely.
I spent Saturday with family and then Sunday and Monday doing nothing. And I mean nothing. It was lovely.
Buuuut back to reality today, can I win the lottery please so I can do nothing everyday? :(

Brazilian Blow Dry?

About 2 years ago I went to my hairdressers to go and get some blonde highlights put in, when I walked in she asked if I had ever thought about getting a Brazilian blow dry as I was (even back then) constantly trying to grow out my hair. I declined as it was summer and I really wanted the blonde.

I am still on the quest of growing my hair however now it is about 5 inches longer and hasn't been cut in 15 months, I am planning to get it cut when I return from my holiday in the beginning of October. I don't know where I am going to go yet as I haven't been to a salon ever. My hairdresser for my whole life has been a home hairdresser and I think it's time for a change up. So as I was looking for new hair dressers I came back across this Brazilian blow dry and it's made me very curious about getting it done.

keratinhair-treatment.net

These images are apparently showing before and afters from getting the keratin treatment done.
My hair in it's natural state is somewhere between image number 1 and 2 making it a perfect candidate for the treatment but there are some very iffy reviews on the product.
My question is have any of you had this done? Or do you know anyone?
I would love to get it done for the end of the year but not if it's going to wreck the hair I've spent so long growing!

My love of rain

I woke up this morning to hear rain against my window. It has been a long time since I have heard that in the morning as we have had a surprisingly beautiful summer in the UK.
Nothing beats waking up to a cold rainy morning wrapping yourself up in the duvet and going back to sleep (which I couldn't do today as I had to get up and go to work).

It must be in my English blood to love the rain, I always have and no doubt I always will. I find it very soothing and homely, for that reason I will always have to live somewhere that has seasons.

Great British Bake Off!

I can hand on my heart say this is one of my favourite British TV shows ever. Granted right now the only other I can think of is Dr Who but still it is a programme that makes me very happy.

You can call it sad or pathetic but watching people cry over curdled frosting or cutting their hands to pieces resulting in multiple blue plasters on one hand is something I enjoy massively.

I can already tell who will be my favourite this series and there's something about Mary Berry's stone cold looks when it's all going wrong all I can say is..

YAY  FOR GBBO!

Little Mermaid Vinylmation invasion

A few days a go I posted about the release of the Little Mermaid vinylmations and said I might crack and buy some.
Well yesterday at 8am there I was ready to purchase and the 3 I ordered arrived today! If you didn't already know this range was 'blind boxed' so you buy however many and just hope you don't get any doubles. This was my first ever blind box purchase so I was super excited when they were delivered.

So these are the boxes, really cute and top quality matte print. I ordered 3, so glad I did.. kind of wished I had gone for 4.

This is what is inside each box, a foil wrapped vinylmation. It's actually quite silly how excited I was to rip these open and see what was inside.

These are the snazzy 3 I got. I opened Ursula first followed by Eric and then Sebastian. I am so pleased with Ursula and Eric but I really wanted Flounder so I might trade Sebastian up or purchase a Flounder on ebay in a few weeks time. Disney store UK is now totally sold out, probably because they were offering 20% off today so if you fancy any you will have to turn to Ebay or hope the Disney store will re-stock.

Dream home

I can spend hours day dreaming about what my future home will look like, will it be a flat? a house? a bungalow? a card board box? who knows until I eventually get my hands on whatever it will be.

Much like when I was a kid I would dream of what my future would hold, I now dream of wall paper patterns and paint colours and how my home will be the perfect place for myself and my boyfriend.

I have been collecting images from the internet for future inspiration and thought I would share my favourites with you here.

 love the neutral colors

blue and gray

storage

Kitchen makeover

Cute lil' work space.

For a long time I thought I would have a very colourful house but now I realise I want the colour to come from the furniture and the accessories. This way I can move and change things up as much as I want without spending a penny.

Traditional

Of course if I lived in America this would be my dream house but I am probably looking at something more like this in good old England.
